Cellusuede Products has been manufacturing quality flock for over 60 years.
John C. "Jack" Sutton founded the company in 1938 as a manufacturer of flock-coated paper. Initially Cellusuede Products employed five, including Sutton, who cut, dyed and processed the rayon fiber then used for the coating operation.
Today, Cellusuede is a full service flocking manufacturer, manufacturing more than several million pounds of flock per year, with a product line including rayon, nylon, polyester, polypropylene, acrylic and other synthetic fibers.
The industries Cellusuede supplies includes the automotive industry, supplying interior trim and window channels; home furnishings making entrance and logo mats; apparel, with transfer and direct flocking; plastics for reinforcement and appearance enhancement and many others.
In 1997 Cellusuede Products became an QS-9000/ISO-9002 registered company, the first flock manufacturer in the world to do so.
All of the employee-owners of Cellusuede Products (an employee-owned company) are dedicated to the manufacture of quality flock fibers and bringing Cellusuede into the new millenium as a world class provider of flock fibers.
